“Norman Coe is the Christian Kitchens Chairman.

He has recently retired form his position as a Hostel Support worker and has been involved with the Christian Kitchen since 1996.

He began to volunteer as he saw it as a good and practical way to help hopeless people and those who are struggling.

The Christian Kitchen is important to Norman because it demonstrates practical values and love.

Interesting fact – he is an avid Leyton Orient Supporter. “

Our newest recruit Paige has been volunteering for the Christian Kitchen since 2011. When asked why the CK was mportant to her, she simply said “They are my children. I get to know them.. They get to know me. I became part of their world. Christian Kitchen become part of my world. There is only one human race.. Some of us have different circumstances.. Some of us need more help than others. It’s my human obligation to fill that need.”
